In a video released on YouTube, a hooded figure wearing a Guy Fawkes mask says that Trump “has not only shocked the USA, you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas.” The speaker goes on to say, “To our fellow hacktivists throughout the world, this is a call to protect our future, our freedom and our very way of life. This is a call to you. We need you to shut down his websites.”
This is not the first time the hacktivist group has gone after Trump, according to The Guardian. It reports that at the end of 2015, it shut down his website for Trump Tower in New York City after his call to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.
