Lady accused of having sex with Tonto Dikeh’s husband blasts critics

rosa

As the news about the alleged crash of the 17-month-old marriage of Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, to philanthropist, Oladunni Churchill, continues to spread like wildfire, a lady, Rosaline Meurer, who was accused of being the ‘side chick’ has spoken out.
Reports have claimed that the lady allegedly responsible for Tonto Dikes marital problems is her husband, Churchill’s PA.
Meurer, a budding actress has, however, denied the claim, saying critics should get their facts right.
In a chat with Hip TV, she said, “It’s irritating to the ears; it’s just like saying ‘are you sleeping with your brother.’
“Like I’ve said before and I say again, he’s like a mentor to me. He’s someone I look up to, I like his person, he has a good heart, there’s no one that wouldn’t want to be identified with someone that has a good heart, someone that gives a helping hand.
“I am very certain that being managed and being under Big Church Foundation, I am sure of a bright future.
“I really have nothing to say about this because it is very irrelevant to me. They are in peace, they are happy, I don’t know about what you people are saying but you guys should get your facts straight before bringing thighs out.
“It is really not relevant to me. I’m not saying much about it until…
“It’s what it is, I remain and will continue to be under Big Church Foundation and he remains family to me. We’ve hung out together before. I don’t see a big deal so people should stop saying what they don’t know.
“The CEO of Big Church Foundation, Mr. Oladunni Churchill is like part of my family. I have known him for years. He is like a brother to my mother and like an uncle to me and my siblings apart from me being an ambassador to his Foundation. This news is really funny to me.
“This is someone with a big heart. His kindness is beyond me because so long as you are around him, you must benefit.”
Speaking on the break up allegation between the couple, she said, “Well, they are all false. I don’t see it’s not false. Does anyone have proof of anything that things are not right in their marriage?
“If you don’t have proof, keep shut. People are living their lives, they are happy in their homes and other people will just come up with stories. It doesn’t make sense.
“I feel everyone should just mind their business since they didn’t come out to say they have issues.
“Let people leave a happy family to be happy.”
Recall that widely circulated reports had revealed that Tonto’s marriage was allegedly heading for the rocks and that there was another woman in the picture.

Fayose mocks Buhari over ‘shameful exclusion’ from Trump’s inauguration

fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has described the non-extension of invitation to President Muhammadu Buhari to attend United States of America President-Elect, Donald Trump’s inauguration as a clear signal that Buhari does not enjoy international relevance any more.
The governor, who said the 10 days vacation announced by the president could be to cover up the embarrassment, after all efforts to secure invitation to the inauguration failed, added that the development was a very clear signal that Buhari’s government will not enjoy tangible support
from the new US government.
According to a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka, Fayose said “there is no doubt that Buhari is not in the good books of the incoming US government,” arguing that Buhari’s frequent visit to US during Obama administration and the romance was due to the tacit support given to Buhari by Obama to win
the 2015 election with deception.
He said; “with Obama’s role in the emergence of President Buhari, it can be said that he (Obama) is a member of the APC in the diaspora.”
Fayose continued; “There is more to it that in an important event like the inauguration of a new US President, our president will be missing in action.”
The governor wondered why the same Buhari, who was a regular visitor to the US under Obama, is today not part of the historic inauguration of a new administration.
“No doubt, something is fundamentally wrong because if there is hope of a future relationship between President Buhari and the new US President, they would have been celebrating his inauguration and would not have allowed Nigerians to hear any other news apart from Buhari going to America.
“Obviously, Buhari’s junketing to US that gulped $1 million per trip, has come to an inglorious end,” he said.
The governor, who congratulated Trump for winning against all odds, like he (Fayose) won his own election in Ekiti in 2014, appealed to the new American president to do everything humanly possible to save Nigeria from the wanton killings and horrid human rights abuses of the Buhari
administration.
He enjoined Trump to use his good offices to look into the daily killings in Nigeria particularly in Southern Kaduna where over 1,000 people were slaughtered like goats and buried in mass graves.
Fayose reiterated; “The Southern Kaduna killings is a clear case of genocide that must be thoroughly investigated and unraveled.
“To make matters worse was the bombing of the Internally Displaced Persons camp by the military in apparent desperation to cover up the corruption and mismanagement of affairs in the camp.
“We appeal to Trump to ensure that the voice of the opposition is not silenced in this country.”
Describing the emergence of Trump as the will of God despite human gang up, Fayose said that the opposition in Nigeria will work with the new American government.
Fayose also cited the reckless disobedience to court orders; the deliberate efforts to kill opposition and turn Nigeria into a one-party state; the intolerance of this administration which is second to none, victimization and hacking of opposition leaders’ telephone conversations under the guise of anti-corruption war; the bastardization of institutions of state such as the armed forces, INEC, Police, Department of State Security, compromising of a section of the Judiciary, and turning them all into jellies doing the bidding of the ruling party at the snapping of fingers are other possible reasons why Buhari was not invited to Trump’s inauguration.
He implored the new American president to put international pressure on the Buhari administration to restore true democracy to Nigeria.
“We however appreciate the non invitation of Buhari because that will give him the much needed opportunity to face the problems he inflicted on Nigeria, especially the IDP bombing, which left over 100 hapless Nigerians dead,” he said.

MMM Users Allegedly Still iIn The Dark Over payment issues despite comeback

MMM users are still unsettled days after the supposed return of the scheme, According to Premium Times...

MMM Nigeria which has well over 3million Nigerians in its talons said it has removed all requests for payment on the system.

A report in The Cable said that the scheme in a statement on Tuesday explained that “although some people called it ‘cancelled’, the truth of the matter is that it was only removed not cancelled.

“Please note that the GH orders were not cancelled because if cancelled, you will see it at the right-hand side as deleted. It was removed because of the following reasons:

“There is an ongoing upgrade because programmers are always working on the MMM system every day so the promised New Model can be unveiled as soon as possible.

“More so, many participants have formed the habit of cancelling their GH orders and creating new GH orders hoping they will be matched earlier.

“There is no need for that anyway but to forestall that, the created GH orders were removed and that is why you can’t create new GH orders because the old GH orders have not been cancelled but removed and withdrawal is still pending.”

The scheme said there was no need for participants to panic, maintaining that it would pay those who had requested for their monies.

However, a cross section of participants interviewed in Abuja either said that the scheme only made half or no payment.

Timothy Oshi who said he was to be paid a day before the scheme was shut down in December disclosed that he learnt some people received little payments but he was yet to be matched for payment.

“At the moment, I have not been matched, and last year we were told that as the scheme resumes on January 14, they will be the ones to release those who are ready to be matched even if you are due for payment,” Mr. Oshi said.

Another participant, Pascal Onuarah, who provided help in November and asked for help on January 13, said he was matched with four persons but only two paid.

“I was only paid N4000 and N10,000, leaving two failed transactions waiting to be rematched,” Mr. Onuarah said.

A top guider of the scheme, Chinwe Ofoma, while explaining the reason for delayed payment said that the number of people requesting for payment was higher than the number providing help.

“They have started matching people, but there will be delay in payment especially for those that pledged huge amount of money. There should be enough money in the system before everybody can get paid. However, I’m sure we will all get paid”, Ms. Ofoma added.

MMM earlier said it was setting a limit on daily withdrawals, in order to control panic withdrawals.

In the message on its site, MMM said it “will only pay a certain amount per day”.
Citing panic withdrawals as a reason for delayed payment, MMM Nigeria called on the media to “leave the scheme alone”.

“As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts.

“The richer can wait. Moreover, we’ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it.

“This is the way it’s going to be. I’d like again to call on the authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on people.”

MMM, Nigeria’s No 1 Ponzi Scheme which had earlier placed a one-month ban on all withdrawals from December 13, 2016, upon resumption, introduced the use of bitcoins as part of its payment options.

Nigerians however have been warned against investing in digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Swisscoin and OneCoin.

The Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, advised the public to exercise extreme caution with regard to digital currencies as a vehicle of investments.

Another top guider of the Scheme, Ikechukwu Ofomo, disclosed that with the use of Bitcoin, there will be no third party or intermediary such as banks. Meaning that all transactions will be strictly online with no bank charges.

“By implication, you can be paired with someone in Egypt for payment using Bitcoins,” Mr. Ofomo added.
