BREAKING: Many dead as building under construction in Kano University collapses

 At least 20 students are feared dead following a building collapse in Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Kano. According to Vanguard, the building that collapsed was the 2 storey building donated to the University by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).

The collapse happened around 12pm.

Eyewitness report that there are heightened fear that the figures may rise following the deployment of men of Fire service.

A number of labourers at the site were also trapped, vanguard reports.

Evacuation services are however, ongoing at the site.
