It's common knowledge that dark colors absorb heat (especially that from the sun's rays) while light colors reflect it. So in 2008 and 2009, the state of California considered banning the sale of new black cars, not out of concern for California residents' on-the-go comfort, but because of the unfavorable environmental effects. It sounded like a bunch of hippie nonsense (and it even got some conservatives, such as Rush Limbaugh, all worked up), but the science behind the idea is sound. A 2011 study by the Berkeley Lab Environmental Energy Technologies Division discovered that white, silver, and other light paint colors do improve a car's efficiency. The study, which pitted a silver Honda Civic against a black one, found that light colored cars reflect about 60 percent of sunlight compared to dark colored cars. This translates to a 2 percent decrease in fuel economy (due to increased air conditioner use), a 1.9 percent increase in carbon dioxide emissions, and a 1 percent increase in other harmful emissions for a black car

Do black cars really get hot in summer?

Why you might have to start wrapping up your keys in aluminum foil
Your car is always listening. Not for your voice, like the Amazon Echo or Siri, but for an electronic signal, such as the coded "unlock" signal from your electronic key fob. If it's a newer car model, you might not have to press any buttons; just approach your car and the doors will unlock automatically. In some cars, the engine will even turn on.
Wirelessly unlocking your car is convenient, but it comes at a price. Criminals can easily intercept the key fob's signal and open your car without setting off any alarms. If you have a true keyless car model, they might be able to just drive away. Let's look at how criminals pull this off and what you can do to keep your car safe.
How your car's security system works
As you've probably noticed, you can't just open your car with any old radio signal. You need your specific key fob to do the job, and there's a reason.
A key fob uses a computer chip to create a unique code that it sends to your car's security system. The car also has a chip that uses the same algorithm to generate codes. If the codes match up, the car opens. There's a bit more to it, but those are the basics.
How criminals attack #1
Since each key fob/car security pair is unique, and each one can create billions of codes, hackers shouldn’t stand a chance. But it turns out that a popular system from Megamos Crypto isn't as secure everyone thought.
Researchers at Radboud University in the Netherlands and the University of Birmingham found that by intercepting the wireless signal just twice, they could narrow down the possible combinations from billions to just 200,000. After that, a computer can figure out the code in just half an hour and unlock the car.
In a real-world application, a thief could sit on a street and gather wireless signals as car owners enter and exit their vehicles. Then overnight they could steal a number of cars. Click here to find out if your car is at risk from this kind of attack.
Still, it takes a skilled car thief or hacker to carry out this kind of attack, so the odds of it happening to you are slim. But thanks to always-on key fobs, there's another risk that's much more likely to happen
How criminals attack #2
Always-on key fobs present a serious weakness in your car's security. As long as your keys are in range, anyone can open the car and the system will think it's you. That's why newer car models won't unlock until the key fob is within a foot of them.
But for less than $100, criminals can get an amplifier that detects key fob signals from up to 300 feet away and then transmits them to your car. In other words, your keys could be in your house, and criminals could walk up to your car and open it. This isn't just a theory; it's actually happening.
Steps to stop car thieves
Fortunately, there are some simple steps you can take to keep hackers from stealing your signal. You can buy a signal-blocking pouch that can hold your keys, like the Hack-Blocking Card Pouch.
If you don’t want to spend any money, you can stick your key fob into the refrigerator or freezer. The multiple layers of metal will block your key fob's signal. Just check with the fob's manufacturer to make sure that freezing your key fob won't damage it.
If you're not hot on freezing your key fob, you can do the same thing with your microwave oven. (Hint: Don't turn it on.) Stick your key fob in there, and criminals won't be able to pick up its signal. Like any seasoned criminal, they'll just move onto an easier target.
Since your key fob's signal is blocked by metal, you can also wrap it up in aluminum foil. While that's the easiest solution, it can also leak the signal if you don't do it right. Plus, you might need to stock up on foil. You can also make a foil-lined box to put your keys in, if you're in a crafting mood.
You should also be aware that this kind of signal stealing isn't a problem just for car key fobs. Newer passports and other I.D. cards contain radio frequency identification chips that enable criminals to use a high-powered RFID reader to steal your information from a distance. You don't need aluminum foil, however. Explore the line of stylish RFID-blocking wallets, purses and passport cases.
Key fob hacking isn't the only danger to modern cars. Learn how hackers can take control of cars through their entertainment systems and other avenues of attack.

3 Signs She’s Cheating On You

Infidelity is common in most relationships. It takes discipline and respect for a man and a woman to be fully committed in a relationship without fishing else where. Sadly, only a few have the level of self-control needed to be faithful to one partner.
Sometimes, women can take it to the extreme. Once a woman starts cheating, it’s worse than when a guy does it. The craziest part is trying to conceal it. Women are wired to be nurturing.
When a woman is sleeping with someone outside of her relationship, it’s easy to tell. This is not to say all women cheat, but the ones that do always have a tell-tale sign and that’s what you want to watch out for.
Read below signs that you are not your girl friend’s only boo.
1. She Turns Down Your Advances Too Often
When she turns you down too often, too much then it is a sign she might be sleeping with someone else. This is not to say she can’t turn you down when she’s tired.
However, if it goes on for months, especially when there’s a lacking in the overall connection between you two, it might just be her subtle way of letting you know, you don’t do it for her anymore.
2. Always Hiding Her Phone
This is a no brainier. Only someone who has something to hide will make an effort to become very private. If your girl is sleeping out, she suddenly thinks you are prying too much into her personal affairs.
She tells you stuff like “respect my boundaries‘. ” trust me, I am not cheating on you.” As a matter of fact, if she is giving you unsolicited confessions like: “I was out late because my friend was blah..blah” she’s probably lying and might just be sharing her national cake to the neighbourhood.
3. She Becomes A Nag
If your girl used to be sweet and calm and out of no where she’s the opposite of her usual self, she might just be sleeping with someone else. Suddenly, everything you do is wrong .
She will argue all day when she’s with you, nag about how you act especially if you keep quiet and try to understand her plight.
She will get offended if you are calm about it, she will rain hell if you stand your ground and argue with her. There’s no winning here, the real problem is, she’s seeing someone else and her
This Surprising Secret Will Improve Your S3x-Life 100%.
Doctors have been telling patients for years the importance of a good night’s sleep. Along with a proper diet and exercise, sleep is key to be healthy. Still as a society we continue to stay up late and wake up early in an effort to get as much done as possible.
Researchers have found that those who shorten their hours of sleep pay for it in the end with health issues like heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure. Sleepless nights also affect stress levels as well as our ability to concentrate. Some studies suggest sleep deprived drivers are just as dangerous as those who are inebriated.
If the above points have not convinced you to go to bed a little early tonight, you may also not be aware that a good night’s sleep also helps your love life. Go to bed early and you will turn into a sex god in the bedroom.
More and more North Americans are getting by with only a few hours of sleep.
With work, family, and other activities needing attending to on a daily basis people often feel they need to give up sleep to get it all done.

It’s like driving a car, you keep driving it without putting more gas in.
Slowly, things eventually begin to be affected by your lack of sleep. You may begin by cancelling social appointments, struggle concentrating at work, and your mood changes.

If you develop sleep disorders like insomnia or sleep apnea, libido begins to decrease.
Hence, the more sleep you lack, the less likely you will have the energy to have sex.

Sex is noted for releasing happy hormones. But if all you think about is sleeping, it’s hard to get it on.
In a 2012 study, it found that 6 out 10 Americans would rather sleep than have sex.

Doctors encourage their patients to get a good night’s sleep for their overall health but also for their sex life.
In fact, the 2012 study conducted by the Better Sleep Council found that 45% of people fall sleep just about anywhere at least once a week. The top four places folks are dozing off are; work, school, church, and traffic.

You can fix that very quickly. Women who go to bed at a decent time found their sexual drive increased.
Ironically, having sex on a regular basis also helps you get a good night’s sleep. It’s a win-win situation.

The more sleep you are getting, the more energy you have to have sex.
This leads to a happier, stress-free relationship.

Don’t over do it by going to bed super early and waking up late.
It is recommended that six to eight hours of sleep is what your body needs. Over doing it will give you the same effects of feeling groggy and irritated.

Don’t forget to make sure you have a comfortable bed and soft pillows.
65 degrees Fahrenheit is the best temperature in the house for you to sleep like a baby.

So go to bed early, have sex, and repeat. This is the key to a youthful and healthy life.
Next time you have a hard time falling asleep because of work or stress, simply turn to your partner for a little nooky.

LADIES! SEE 4 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR NATURAL HAIR GROW LONGER
How to make your natural hair grow longer – The long hair struggle is one we all know. Your friends are having hair length of 16 inches and such. But your hair has refused to grow longer than 8inches.
You’re always like: Don’t worry, we’ve got you. If you want your natural hair to grow longer, here are some simple things to try:
1. Moisturizing is the way

Our hair is prone to dryness. Dry hair breaks easily. Moisturizing your hair with oils such as coconut, shea butter, jojoba oil and more keeps them soft. It prevents breakage and helps you retain length.
2. Trim split ends

It may sound weird, cutting hair off to make it grow. But this works wonders. You know those split and damaged ends of your hair? Cutting off half or quarter inch helps keep them from working their way to the roots and damaging your hair.
3. Deep Condition always

Deep conditioning sounds like an under sea thing right? It’s a technique for conditioning your hair that helps it retain moisture and keeps it soft.
After applying conditioner, use a shower cap to cover your hair for 30-40 minutes. Then wash. Do this at least once a month to keep your hair beautiful.
4. Protective styling is bae
You know how you keep tugging your hair or touching it? That doesn’t help it’s growth.
This is why you need proective styles like box braids, Ghana weaving, crotchet twists etc.
They protect your hair from the pressures of constant maintainence.
Also, don’t carry protective styles for months on end. Switch them up as your hair needs to breath.

The Road Lies In Wait....

Two major road accidents in the last week brought to the fore again the dangers that lie in wait on Nigerian roads. The Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, James Ocholi, SAN, his wife and son lost their lives in a vehicle
accident that occurred on the Kaduna- Abuja road, when their Lexus SUV vehicle somersaulted, following a burst tyre and the driver’s loss of control.
There was also the death on the Maiduguri-Damaturu road of Major-General Yasha’u Abubakar of the Training and Operations Department of the Nigerian Army. Both accidents have been a source of enormous grief, perhaps because of the status of the persons involved, but the truth is that Nigerian roads are treacherous and deceitful, marked as they are everyday, by a harvest of deaths and sorrow.
To report that the state of the roads is bad is to proclaim the notoriously obvious, and to say that more people die every minute on our roads is to iterate that the road in Nigeria is no respecter of persons or class. In its annual reports, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has tried to identify the primary and secondary causes of road accidents, and in the current Ocholi case, it has offered a preliminary report, which reinforces the notion about every death being in the long run, a revelatory comment on man’s existential crisis.
The regret is that the death that occurs on Nigerian roads, is more often than not, man-made, regretfully self-invited and for that reason, mostly avoidable. Anyone who has ever travelled on Nigerian roads would readily admit that going onto those roads is like taking a risk and no man can call himself safe until he returns home in one piece at the end of the day. Many of our roads are pothole-ridden, bumpy and poorly maintained. Before the ad hoc resurfacing of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway from the Lagos end, there were uneven portions, which always made it seem as if the road was struggling with the driver to seize control of the steering wheel.
One moment of distraction, you could find yourself careering off the road. From the Ibadan end of the Expressway, there were hidden, deep potholes. Many motorists found themselves suddenly landing into those potholes only to lose their tyres or lives. So bad is this dilemma that many motorists require prior knowledge of the state of the road to be able to drive on it; that knowledge means knowing where the potholes are at what point and where dangerous contours need to be avoided. Years of neglect and lack of maintenance have reproduced this pattern across the country.
It takes repeated and costly accidents before the appropriate authorities would rush to mend the roads. And this is not just on the highways; even inner city roads are problematic. When it rains in most Nigerian towns and cities, life grinds to a halt, because the roads are transformed into streams, overflowing with water, due to poor drainage, and from struggling to turn the vehicle into a boat and avoid unseen potholes, the worst may happen. We are almost in that season again, and soon the stories will be told, of accidents caused by slippery, water-logged and dangerous roads.
This fact of administrative and official failure is an important footnote to the FRSC report in the Ocholi case which draws attention to the driver’s negligence, over-speeding, his criminal conduct -driving without a licence (but note that he is a government driver!- who on earth assigned him to drive an official vehicle without a licence (?) and then, the non-use of seat belt by the deceased persons, who in the event of the accident were flung out of the vehicle, in addition to the wrong orientation of the vehicle’s tyres. The revelations by the FRSC Investigation Team should serve as necessary warning to drivers, passengers, vehicle owners and all road users, indeed all of us.
Too many Nigerian road users behave as if life has a duplicate. I have seen drivers who insist “Oga don’t worry”. When you remind them about speed limits, their standard response is “Oga don’t worry”. Every Oga who sits in the owner’s corner should worry. There is no guarantee that accidents won’t occur. Reckless driving is the bane of the Nigerian road.
Commercial drivers are drunk most of the time, or they are under some kind of influence including the metaphysical which induces them to tell you that the vehicle is covered by the “blood of Jesus”, or that ‘No weapon fashioned against them shall prosper.” The more traditional ones insist that they have killed a dog for Ogun, the god of iron and so, Ogun will not forsake his own. As the FRSC has indicated, there are thousands behind the wheels on Nigerian roads who have never bothered to undergo a driving test, and these include persons working as official drivers.
There is also the problem of vehicle maintenance. Half of the vehicles on our roads are either not roadworthy or they are poorly maintained. Have you not heard the drivers who are fond of saying: “we can manage Oga; I fit manage am”. The tyres are worn out, the wheel balancing and alignment are bad, but the Nigerian driver will rather “manage”. Even when the brakes begin to fail, the natural response is to “manage.” We don’t “worry” enough about safety; we cut corners and procrastinate, when the vehicle gives warning signs, we ignore, when the road breaks down, we look the other way.
It is this mentality that has made many of the employed drivers corrupt. When you give them money to buy fuel, they short-change you; when the vehicle is to be taken for repairs, they undercut you; when anything goes wrong, they refuse to inform you until it is too late. And yet, there are too many big men in Nigeria relying on drivers and not paying enough attention. It is a sign of status and class, to employ a driver or to be assigned one, but very few big men and women bother to monitor the men into whose hands their lives are entrusted.
The point about seat belt deserves to be properly underlined. Following the accidents under reference, there has been much talk about the importance of seat belts. According to the FRSC, “the ejection of the minister and his son, who occupied the rear seat, confirmed the fact that their rear seat belts were not in use and on the contrary, the driver and the orderly survived because the front seat belts were in use”. It is sad that many big men don’t worry about using seat belts. It is considered too much of an effort for a man to own a vehicle, or be big enough to be driven by another, only for him to tie himself down in the back seat.
The widespread assumption is that the space called owner’s corner is meant for sprawling; it is regarded as a place of comfort from where the master backs orders at the assistants in the front seat! This owner’s corner syndrome has caused the death of many “big men and women”, there must be a vigorous campaign launched at all levels by the FRSC, civil society groups and other agencies to remind everyone that it is better to be a big man or woman alive than to ignore a simple safety task and lose one’s life.
The FRSC is threatening to prosecute late Minister Ocholi’s driver as soon as he is discharged from the hospital. But the FRSC must see in this experience, further justification for it to be more vigilant and assertive with its vehicle accident prevention strategies. It must launch a fresh and vigorous campaign against reckless driving, set clear speed limits, acquire the relevant technology to determine the abuse of those limits and raise its organizational capacity to prevent motorists from willfully committing suicide or killing others, by apprehending the reckless and enforcing the relevant laws. This should include descending heavily on persons who use the phone while driving.
I can’t count the number of times other motorists nearly drove into a vehicle or constituted pure nuisance, just because they are busy driving with one hand and using the other hand to wield a phone while chatting heartily as if they are in their living rooms. When you call such persons to order, they have no qualms telling you to get lost or mind your own business!
The FRSC used to have many volunteers, otherwise known as Special Marshals, who effected citizen arrest or helped to make the roads saner either by controlling traffic or checking the excesses of other motorists. That volunteer corps should be re-energized. And anyone who does not have a driver’s licence should be sanctioned. The current penalties appear cheap, and so motorists are tempted to do as they wish. Speed violation attracts only a fine of N3, 000, driving under the influence - N5, 000, vehicle license violation -N3, 000, driving without seat belt – N2, 000; use of phone while driving- N4, 000; only dangerous driving attracts a fine as high as N50, 000, but of course by the time that N50, 000 is paid, lives may have been lost!
These fines and penalties should be reviewed. Nigerians often choose which laws to respect or not and damn the consequences, particularly if they can easily pay a fine and walk away.
The various tributes on late Minister Ocholi have been touching, the story is sad, and may the Lord grant him, his wife, and son, peaceful repose, but after all the tears have been shed and the tributes delivered, what must be done is not to walk away until another tragedy occurs, but to take concrete steps to prevent similar accidents in the future, especially for the sake of the many unknown victims who die daily on our roads, and whose tragedy is unreported and unmourned.
At the level of policy and action, note this: the first step is to separate the all-important task of making our roads safe and motorable from corrosive, partisan politics, itself a principal stumbling block.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE A TYRE BLOWOUT
(1) DON'T PANIC in the event of a blowout, calm
yourself down first because your car will start misbehaving and you need to
take charge.
(2) Hold FIRMLY to your
steering wheel with both hand, NO VIGOROUS TURNING, as you concentrate on the
road and your mirrors, in seconds study the movement pattern of the car. Your
car will naturally swerve to the direction of the burst tyre.
(3) Take off your
foot from the accelerator, DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO PRESS THE BRAKES, IF YOU DO,
YOU HAVE A 95% CHANCE OF A SOMERSAULT. The car will decelerate gradually while
you concentrate on the road to avoid collision with any other road user.
(4)
Disengage the gears of the car by shifting to neutral (n) as you still maintain
a firm grip on the sheering wheel and put your eyes on the road.
(5) After a
while depending on your initial speed, your car come to a speed less than
60km/h when it is now safe to GRADUALLY apply the brakes and navigate to the
side walk (6) Ultimately, it is now safe to put the car to a complete stop and
turn off the engine. You have just saved yourself and passengers from untimely
death.NOTE:Of course, everyone in the car will be in a panic mode BUT this is
NOT THE TIME TO LISTEN TO THEM, it is TIME TO CONCENTRATE.Please, don't just
read, share this page and copy to other platforms, you may just be about to
save a life.

How to start a conversation with a girl for the first time – Need to see this!
How to start a conversation with a girl: How to talk to a girl for the first time, without making it look like you’re hitting on her? It’s easy to learn how to start a conversation with a girl as long as you know the basic steps. Find out here.
How to start a conversation with a girl? Many men have tried and tried really hard. And most of those men have failed miserably. Starting a conversation with a girl is not really as hard as most men claim it to be. It’s simple and can be a lot of fun if you really understand the basic ground rule. Women are not monsters. And men don’t really need to fear them. Women like men just as much as men like women. After all, in most normal circumstances, opposite sexes do attract each other. And it’s always flattering when someone of the opposite sex starts a conversation with you, isn’t it? Do you ever wonder how to start a conversation with a girl? What do you think about? A cool pick up line, or maybe a very confident walk up followed by some smooth talking? Well, it could work. But in most cases, those moves fail. And they fail miserably.
Here’s the simple part. Women are tired of being “picked up” all the time. If you’re talking about a gorgeous woman who’d have men trailing her all the time, she’d probably hate pick up lines and smooth talkers. Smooth talking is good, but it’s never a good way to start a conversation. How would you start a conversation with a man? With a simple “hello” or a “hi”, right?
Think along the same lines when you talk to a girl. Don’t try to pick up a girl, try to start a conversation with a girl instead. And she’ll appreciate it.
When is it a good time to make a move?
One of the best ways to have a successful conversation with a girl, is by not surprising her all of a sudden. Many men make the mistake of walking straight up to a girl and saying something to her. In such cases, the girl may be so startled that she may instinctively turn you down without even getting a second to think about you as a person. You wouldn’t want that, would you? The sudden pick up may work now and then, but there are always safer and more easier methods if you want to know how to start a conversation with a woman. Let her know you exist. Look at her now and then, warm her up to the act, and let her know that you intend to walk up and say hello to her, eventually. That way, if she reciprocates your stares, she’s anticipating you and wondering when you’re going to walk up and say hello! This would actually build up the excitement and make her wait for you instead. See, this can actually work a lot better because you’re creating an interest before starting a conversation.
And because of that, this is one of the best ways to start a conversation with a girl.
Scenarios on starting a conversation with a girl
Now that you know the basic rules on how to start a conversation with a girl and how to warm her up even before talking, let’s take a look at a few common scenarios and strategies you can use when you may bump into a beautiful girl.
Conversation Strategy: Gentleman in distress
Even big, strong men like you would have their tough times, where you would have to play the “gentleman in distress” part. For instance, let’s assume you want to know how to start a conversation with a girl at the supermarket. You’re at a supermarket and you have no idea where to pick up all the ingredients to make a chicken stroganoff. What do you do now?
Scenario 1: Ditch that idea. What were you thinking anyways? Don’t you have pizzas and beer in the freezer?!!
Scenario 2: Start a conversation with a girl shopping in the store, and ask the pretty girl to help you out with your shopping. I hope you picked Scenario 2. You know why, because the pizzas and the beer can’t get any worse. Your raging hormones on the other hand can. Anyways, believe it or not, the shopping girl would love to help you shop, and she would also love to give you her secret recipe to make it taste even better. This is true unless she’s wearing a T-Shirt that says “My cooking sucks, but thankfully so do I”, in which case you’ve struck gold anyways. You could even ask her to help you cook the meal and join you for lunch, and whatever that follows. There’s always something that gives a girl a good feeling about a man who accepts that he is terrible in doing something and needs her help… maybe it’s his helplessness that draws her. Or maybe she’s just into male-bashing. But in all cases, women love to mould men. So if you look helpless and lost, she’s want to help you even more. The next time you go shopping for clothes alone, make it a point to ask the pretty maiden shopping by herself (if you ever find one shopping by herself!) if the shirt you just tried looks good on you. Be sincere and try not to look like a prick with a wide toothy grin when you ask her that.
Remember, you’re trying to start a conversation with a girl here. So be warm and absolutely genuine. Chances are she may even help you pick a nice tee for yourself (so what if it was a two grand designer sweatshirt at the end of the month). And you could always ask her out for a coffee so you can thank her for helping you.
How to start a conversation with a girl the nice way!
The world is full of opportunities to meet wonderful women, and start a beautiful relationship with them. It is said that opportunity knocks only once, but if you want to, you can find endless ways to create perfect opportunities for yourself. The most important fact that you should understand is this. You would be most successful in meeting girls if you behave like “you”. Don’t try to pretend to be someone else, the girl would definitely know that you’re faking it, either in the very first minute or by the fifth, which does not help you in any way. A girl is attracted to your personality more than anything else (a theory made by ugly men, which does seem true by the way). If you seem confident and charming and approach the woman in a very pleasant manner, she would be pleased to have met someone who has the courtesy to appreciate her company. So, what are you waiting for, sugar? Go on… you know how to start a conversation with a girl, so go on and talk your way into that cute girl’s heart.

These 5 Do’s & Don’ts While ‘Greeting’ A Newborn Will Make Your Day! Number 3 Shouldn’t Be Ignored!
You had been counting the days to your friend’s due date – just as much as she had been doing – perhaps a little more than her because you were all the more elated about doing things for her and the new addition to her family.
You had been wishing to feel the excitement of maternity once more (if you already are a mother) or get your rehearsals if you are planning to be one soon – there is a motherly side to every woman after all! To hold the cuddly-wuddly bundle of joy is what most women look forward to – even if it isn’t their own baby.
Babies are so indisputably adorable. You can neither wait to gift the mittens you’ve woven for the new born, nor can you withhold yourself to feel the creases of its skin or caress the tiny delight. But what does the woman who just brought the new life into the world think? She certainly cares for your excitement and she could appreciate your goodwill but with some golden implicit rules on visiting a newborn. You must first get your bearings around the foremost Dos and Don’ts when you plan your first visit.
1. Don’t: Never Go To See The New Born At The Hospital:
If you have just received a message about the new arrival, don’t rush to the hospital to be the first visitor. For one, the mother has already endured too much and she is being ‘roomed in’ with her baby. The early hours after delivery are when the child must start bonding with the mother. Secondly, the more the people swarm in around the baby, the higher are the chances of potent infection! It’s the best to give the new parents their own time to get over the overwhelming feeling of – ‘Hey, we’ve just become Mom and Dad!”
Do: Help fetching needs.
You could ask the new parents if they need any help. While the nursing staff must already be doing their part, you could bring anything additional that they might need.
2. Don’t: Never Visit A Home Unannounced
So the mother and baby have been discharged from the hospital and are homebound. But you don’t have to step in unannounced. Always call to ask if it is the best time to visit. The new mother is still getting used to feeding her child, and might need more privacy. She might be half-dressed, might not be looking at her best, or might be suffering from post-partum depression even if it isn’t evident. Remember not all mothers are comfortable bearing their chests for their babies in front of their best friends!
Do: Leave Your Footwear Out, And Bring In The Hand Sanitizer.
Don’t assume you have super-clean hands even you have washed them. The human body can turn into a great germ carrier (considering the normal body flora) within a few minutes. Before you can carry the baby in your arms, use the hand sanitizer. Also remember to remove your footwear outside the door.
3. Don’t: Never Carry The Baby Without Uttering Kind Words:
Don’t Never Carry The Baby Without Uttering Kind Words
You will be surprised at this. But in any many cultures the baby must be talked to before carrying in one’s arms. This holds true especially when it’s sleeping. Although it might not understand what you speak, the subconscious mind that helps him recognize the security that a mother can offer might be dispelled with fear or shock if you hold him unwarned!
Do: Ask For The Mother’s Approval To Carry The Child.
Ask the mother if she is alright with you carrying the child for some time. With all probability she will be happy with the fawning.
4. Don’t: Don’t Visit When You Are Sick:
Don’t Don’t Visit When You Are Sick
This can be unpardonable. The mother is not interested in you visiting with sneezes and coughs. Stay away from being a germ carrier. Also remember not to kiss the baby on the face or hands.
Do: Always Bring Gifts And Food.
The gift for the baby is undeniable. But gifts for the elder siblings might also be a great idea. They are less likely to bother the young one with all the “coo-coo-gaa-gaa” while being occupied with their gifts. And yes – the food – it could be brilliant; for who could be cooking so much in between nursing the two?
5. Don’t: No Taking Pictures Even If Solicited
You have no business taking pictures of the little one even with the approval of the parents. Remember that the flashes of a camera do no good to the young one. The tiny thing is already exposed to some flashes. Don’t allow for more. You could save it for the upcoming precious times.
Do: Be A Helping Hand.
Help in the kitchen – clean up the mess around. Do the necessary groceries for your friend. And be willing to give any of your advice only when asked.
Bear these in mind, and you surely are a hit with the tiny esteemed guest!

7 Easy Ways To Know A Nigerian Girl Loves Your Money Not You
Its OK for a girl to demand that her man takes care of her financial needs, however, that shouldn’t be the only reason she’s in the relationship. Sadly this is not the case these days. Most Nigerian girls simply want to turn their man into a personal ATM and as soon as it looks like the ATM can no longer dispense enough cash to satisfy their financial desires, they jump on the next machine. With this trend spreading like wide fire among Nigerian girls, a lot of Nigerian men are now very skeptical of every girl they meet. While some men are able to easily spot these type of women, others just can’t. So to help the other group who can’t. Here are seven ways to know a nigerian girl who loves your money and not you:
1, SHE ONLY CALLS FOR MONEY OR A FAVOUR
She never calls to find out how you are doing and never asks how your day was. Instead, each time she calls, is when she wants money from you or she want you to do something for her that requires money and the next time she calls is when she needs money again from you.
2 SHE WANTS TO KNOW THE SIZE OF YOUR POCKET
When she is interested in knowing about your career and financial status at the beginning not because she cares but because she only wants to know your occupation so she can discover your job title, measure your earnings’ potential and ensure that you have plenty of income to spend on her and support her lifestyle.
3.OUTBURST OF RAGE WHENEVER YOU DONT GIVE HER
When she quickly throws tantrum when things don’t go her way. For instance, when you refuse to buy something for her or give her more money. Then you know, she’s only with you for the money.
4. HER RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU IS ONE SIDED
When your relationship with her is one-sided. She expects you to do all the gift buying, pay for nice places and all other nice things that cost money, congratulations because you just found yourself a leech, whose clinch from your finance will require surgery.
5. SHE'S NEVER PRUDENT
Everybody likes to go to nice places and and get nice things, but if she suggests that you go to expensive restaurants all the time and doesn’t care where and how you get the money to finance the outing, well she only needs your money and not you.
6.SHE'S MATERIALISTIC
If all she ever wants is for you to always buy her expensive presents at all occasions and you find out that you are the one who is constantly shelling out money in the relationship for presents while she never ever reciprocates in her own little way, that should be your sign that she’s just using you.
7.MONEY IS HER WATCH WORD, SHE'S ALWAYS BROKE
When the only story she has for you when you guys talk is that she needs money for one thing or another. The story only changes slightly everytime but the bottom-line is for you to give her money money money all the time, then she only needs you for the money.

Actor John Dumelo shares his views on how best to treat a woman

He shared his views on his Instagram page. Read below...
My view on how to treat women.
1.Don't compare your wife to other women. You don't know what their husbands are going through.
2. Never expose your wife's weakness to your family or friends or run to them whenever you have issues. Problems are best solved between you and your woman.
3. Don't think you are man so you can use intimidation, shout or violence to communicate your moods. Agreesive men don't make a happy home.
4. Speak gently and calmly to your wife. Never raise your voice at her, it demeans her and shows you think she is stupid.
5. Do your responsibilities as man...don't leave every to your woman.
6. Never blame your wife if she doesn't take care of the home everyday. She is swamped with house work and helping you raise the kids.
7. Don't be wasteful spending money on drinks, friends and extended family. The wife and children are your first responsibility.
8. Sex is also important to women. Her pleasure should be considered before your own.
9. Never compare your wife to your ex-girlfriends. If you loved them so much why didn't you marry them instead of your wife.
10. Never shout down your wife or challenge her in front of the children. The children are watching. They won't listen and obey her too.
11. Tell your wife she's beautiful even if you know she's looking normal. Women love compliment.
12. Don't forget that women also want attention and someone to share their thougts with. Never be too busy for your wife.
13. A prayerful man is a better equipped husband. Pray always for your wife and family. Don't leave the prayers to your wife.
14.Treat your wife like a queen. Buy her gifts, take her shopping and once in a while, cook for her.
15.Please don't forget your these anniversary dates. Wedding ,engagement, the first time you kissed. I beg you. These dates mean a lot to women. (Don't ask me why). I also don't know.
16. Your mother should not have the final say in your marriage. You married your wife, not you and your mother. Let her talk in her own husband's house.
17.There are 5 days each month that you have to say "I'm sorry", "yes baby" and "I love you" more than 7 times a day. That's when she's menstrating

Ladies: 3 Personal Goals That Will Make You A Better Woman And Wife In The New Year
When it comes to what goals you should focus on in the new year, that decision is a very personal one. You have to think about what areas of your life need the most improvement. You also have to think about what type of change will have the most impact in your life.
Now if one of your goals for the new year is to strengthen your marriage, you have to focus on personal goals to make that happen. You can’t put yourself last on the list of priorities and expect your marriage to improve.
It just doesn’t work that way. When you put some serious effort into who you are as a person, then, and only then, will you be able to work on your relationship.
Here are 3 personal goals that won’t just make you a better woman, but will also help you have a happier marriage in the new year.
1) Build your physical strength
People always focus on weight loss, but as a woman who has successfully lost weight in the past, I can tell you that it’s not just about losing pounds. What felt even better than the smaller waistline was my newfound strength.
The tone in my arms, the strength in my legs—all of it gave me an incredible sense of confidence. When you are able to build physical strength, it has a tremendous impact on your sense of self and how you interact with others. Building confidence and strength will change who you are, and that will change how you interact with your husband in a powerful way.
2) Meditate regularly
Meditation is difficult for many people to do at all, let alone regularly. But there is no question that the consistence practice of meditating can change your life. Meditation can give you clarity and peace of mind.
With your mind in a clear and peaceful state, you are best prepared to manage any problems you may have in your marriage. When you try to work on any relationship with a cluttered mind, you can’t make much progress. Clarity breeds progress. Make meditation a goal for 2016, and you will see your marriage (and every other relationship that matters) shift into a better space.
3)Schedule time for self-care
Self-care is often mentioned as something we all need to focus on, yet so many of us don’t. We still live in a world where women give and give without taking the time to replenish and reenergize. But we must.
If we don’t, we become exhausted, frustrated, discouraged, resentful, and sometimes even depressed. Until you truly make self-care a personal goal that you follow through on, you will not be able to give the other areas of your life your best.
Once you take care of yourself with genuine love and care, you have what it takes to care for others in the same way. No one is getting the truest happiest version of who you are if you are not caring for yourself. Once you are at your best, you can finally give your marriage your best
